In a world often divided into “us” and “them,” where overwhelming numbers numb the pain of death from AIDS and poverty, Life in Abundance works with churches to offer hope and empowerment to Africa one community at a time. It is time for “us” to say that “they” matter and together, “we” can change the world.The need is great: - 48 Million African Orphans
- 22.5 Million Living with HIV/AIDS in Sub-Sahara Africa
- Millions needing experience the love and compassion of Jesus
The mandate is clear: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27 (NIV) The response is available: We ask you to be involved in the work LIA is doing in Africa in three different ways. Learn: Join in raising awareness of the global issue of poverty. Contact us for our Boxes for change children’s curriculum or small group information on how to become involved. Pray: Join us in praying for those in Africa who are suffering from disease, poverty and abandonment. Pray for our staff and our partner churches doing the work on the ground. Pray for new partners to come alongside and support LIA financially. Sign up for our electronic newsletter which will provide regular updates on specific issues/people to pray for. Donate: The work going on in Africa with LIA and our partner churches is changing lives. But we need your help! Choose to support a home for four street children for $100/month or give to the support food relief, education, health initiatives, and much more.
